What this site uses
The website’s own scripts do not set HTTP cookies, load advertising tags or run analytics. They use local storage only if you choose to save a preference below. Local storage is held in your browser and, unlike a cookie, is not automatically attached to every request.
Reading the site, opening the navigation and using the local writing tool do not require an optional storage choice. No optional tracking is activated by either preference button.

Purpose: remember the preference you select on this page. The value is either essential or accepted. It contains no name, email address, message text or unique visitor identifier.
Duration: local storage has no automatic expiry in this implementation. It remains until you remove it here, clear site data, use a browser mode that discards it or your browser removes it.
Scope: the choice applies to the current browser profile and website origin, not all your devices. If storage is blocked, the site can still be read and no preference will be saved.
Other browser data and external sites
Your browser may cache pages and images as part of normal delivery. That cache is separate from the preference above. The contact tool does not save drafts in local storage, although your browser may retain form entries according to its own settings.
External links open services that may use their own cookies. Their policies and controls apply after you visit them. No external fonts, embedded social widgets or remotely hosted photographs are loaded by these page files.
If additional services are added to the deployed website, this notice and the relevant choice controls must reflect their actual behaviour before optional processing starts.
