Content is not professional, medical or personalised safety advice. It does not replace training, a suitable map, current official information or an assessment of your own group’s abilities and needs.
Outdoor conditions and access
Paths, weather, water levels, cliff stability, facilities and access arrangements can change without notice. Examples are not surveyed routes, live reports or guarantees of suitability. We do not promise that a place is open, quiet, accessible or safe.
Check legal access, closures, local rules, forecasts, daylight and the full return journey before setting out. Follow signs and instructions on the ground. Do not trespass, cross barriers, disturb wildlife or continue through a closure because of something you read here. Turn back or choose an alternative where conditions exceed your experience or make the route uncertain.

Accuracy and external organisations

Using the writing tool
The contact tool generates plain text locally. It does not deliver a message or guarantee receipt. You remain responsible for reviewing the output and sending an email yourself. Copying and downloading can leave information on your device; take care on shared equipment.
Do not use correspondence to send unlawful, abusive or misleading material, unnecessary sensitive information or content you have no right to share. Response times and publication of suggested corrections are not guaranteed.
